I did a search but could only find a +40 offset amswer with this wheel size.
Need to know if this will fit. I will also be lowering to have little or no wheel gap.
Need to know if I will rub AT ALL.
Let me know, thanks!

well you do do 18x8 +45 225/40/18 w/o rubbing, you can probably do 20x8.5 +45, if you use a 225 tire you have less chance, but on a 20in rim that thing will be stretched to nothing

so...........
is it possible without looking retarted? I'm looking at getting Maya STM's and I know 1 or 2 people had them on here but they're all inactive members. I need to know if they had this setup or if they're custom. I do know however that these people had 20's.

i had 20in x 8.5in on my tsx with a +45 offset. i will not rub but dont run a 245/35/20 this will cause it to rub. you need to run the same overall diameter . which will be either a 245/30/20 , 235/30/20 ,225/30/20 . it all depends how you want the tire to look on the rim that will depend on the size you go with.

So if I go 20"x8.5" 45mm+ and drop it to have little or no wheel gap, I won't have any issues with rubbing AT ALL so long as I go with tires that aren't 245/35/20?
I plan on running 225 or 235 anyway so I don't think that'll be a problem.
I appreciate the help here by the way, i'm about to make a big investment and really don't want to make a mistake that will end up making me hate the wheels.
Let me know, thanks!

that's pretty much it. the 245/35/20 overall diameter is to tall. i put that size on and my tsx is lowered it rubbed. also from tire brand it will differ on the width even though it is the same size. for example you could have a falken and not rub but a kumho might rub.

235/30/20 would be the closest to stock diameter and shouldn't give you rubbing issues. However, that is going to be one hell of a rubber band.
Here are a few cars with 235/30/20's:
