That video is fairly old (that's a 3 gen old Ferrari and an old Porsche too). Back then in the JGTC they did not require fuel cells IIRC. 1998 I think it was.

You wouldn't think there was a chance the ferrari driver survived that. No chance in hell, which is surely what he was experiencing if he was conscious. But he was pulled from the fire 90 seconds later and survived with serious injuries.

i still cannot believe he survived! Usually 30 seconds after the car goes up in flames, it means death. I feel sorry for the guy either way, but it's better that he survived. F' the money at this point, the poor guy is paralyzed from the waist down 
.
