TSX vs Mustang
After a poker tourney at my friends house, i was tired and driving home at about 2am. I am speeding about 60 in a 40 until i see a mustang come from hehind and pull next to me... there were 2 dudes in the mustand when i looked over. He hit the gas so i shiftd over to SS and played him him too. I immediatly had a jump on him after we both hit it, we are going about 80-90 on a 2 lane road when the light turns yellow it front. I hit my brakes hoping he would too, and he did but what a noob so he like stopped in th emiddle of the intersection lol so he just ran the light and went slowly, i knew he wanted me again... so when it turned green i came for him and we hit it again, i beat him again so instead of killing him i just keep up side by side with him, teasing him, as we go though a turn about 120mph we see blinking lights, there was a cop not to far ahead of us that just pulled a RL over, i never went from about 120 to 40 so fast in my life, the cop pulls out i follow the cop and head hope. the mustand and i get stuck at a light and we roll our windows down, i pointed to the cop he brushed his forehead and we laughed at went out seperate ways. Funny story
this i am guessing is a base mustang, like 2000 model bc all i have is intake for engine mod and tein suspension. yeah the tsx is nice at high speed

Why are all the racing stories on this board from AT's
And by base Mustang, do you mean a V6? Because there's no way in hell you'd keep up with a GT. Then again I'm not even sure you'd stand a chance against a V6.

Guy in my office just got rear-ended by someone driving like this - and his baby was in the car and his pregnant wife in the passenger seat. They survived with some bad bruises and whiplash.
If I'm driving and you come up on me and my family and have to go from "120 to 40" I swear to God I will take your life with my bare hands.
There are race courses to drive like that - enroll yourself in a driving class and go have some SAFE fun - and maybe even learn something.
Oh - and get a clutch.

ok never posting about racing again, just wanted to tell a story but apparently some people on this forum dont like auto tsx's. Drinking a few beers from 11-2 will have no effect on my driving lol for the guy hating on delaware. Go to school in philly, no thanks for manual. No other cars on the road, and yes racing should be on a track.

Alright, alright you badass MT owners. We are talking about a >3200 lb, 205 hp sedan, not a Z06. Not bashing the TSX, it's a blast to drive, and better when you can keep it above 4000 rpm, but c'mon. And yeah, def a v6 stang and some poor judgment that night.
(Ok, so i'm slightly envious of MT owners... but not in traffic!)

I thought the whole idea for an online community was not to flame others?
Who the hell cares if someone drives an AT?
I have a mt right now, and plan on getting an at in the tsx because i drive in rush hour every day and it gets exhausting shifting..
Who cares if someone is racing... We all do it from time to time, to teach that punk a lesson, or even if you floor it from a stoplight to see how quick your car gets to 60 by yourself..
Idk-- I just thought that the whole idea of an online forum was to appreciate the machinery that everyone owns, and not to bash people about what they drive or how they drive it..
Guess i was wrong.

i think the second message ever posted on a BBS-chat site in the 1980's was:
Dood! U R teh suck!
i kid, i kid...
i think the flaming has more to do with late-night racing while drunk. Regardless of one's transmission, this isn't a particularly smart thing to do.

lol while drunk? get your facts straight.. a few bears while playing poker wont get anyone drunk. Like i said many hours are involved in playing poker the alcohol wont have any affect... thanks jwesg.. i def got flamed for racing a mustang in an auto bc apparently i am the only idiot that races an auto tsx.

i dont know about deleware but georgia has a 0 tolerance policy and if your underage a .0000001 will get you a dui. so no you may not be drunk but if you're pulled over you would go straight to jail. racing is all good and fun as long as you're responsible about it. but yeah the tsx is not a race car.
and yeah you other guys are dicks. who cares if he has an automatic.

Street racing is beyond idiotic. Think about the innocent people lives you're putting in danger next time you decide to do it.
Sure we may have all done it at some point in our lives but most of us (in our old age) realize how wrong and stupid it was and learned from our mistakes.
IMO racing an MT TSX is a bad idea. Racing an AT is just comical. Neither are fast cars that have any business in street races. Sign up for an auto cross event or track day if you feel the need to push the car to limits.

yeah, tsex, being drunk is all about body size. If you are small, 1-2 beers, not bears, can get you a fairly high blood alcohol rating. Now, we all know street racing is stupid, not to mention illegal, but coupling that with underage drinking is just moronic.
Joe, that first pic is one of the funniest things i have ever seen

There are so many moronic things going on in this thread, but the cross-section of that many things in one night is freakin' hilarious.
1) Street racing 2) an older V6 Mustang 3) in an Auto TSX 4) after a little underage drinking 5) in a the magical land of 'Delware'.
And most of all, TSeXaholic is defensive about it and pissed off Joerockt (which is like playing hopscotch on beartraps).
Glad you didn't kill anyone that night.
