Only forgot one... Dodge Neon SRT.

The old RTR cars usually get bought up by someone in Mexico. Rick Gilhart's RTR prep'd Integra is going there I believe. They race them in some league down there.

Rick was selling his RTR prep'd Teg for around $25k, so I imagine an old RTR TSX will be asking for quite a bit.

BTW, you can take your TSX to RTR in WI and they'll do to your car what they did to their own, though I think they tweak for each race.

Much, much different engine specs.

Yeah I believe the BTC series runs the 2 liter while the world-challenge TSX is the 2.4. Huge difference.

As far as FI goes in world-challenge - it's a new rule this year designed to entice the Subarus and Mitsubishis of the world. Volvo runs in GT with the S60R. Here is a link to the technical specs of the Subaru. Here's a link to the page that has all the vehicle technical specs listed for each car. LINK

If I were to follow the specs of the TSX for my own car.....hmm wondering if I could get the nearly the same power.

But don't plan on driving it on the street.

Also rebuilding the engine every 1000 miles might get a little pricey too.

Don't forget to strip the car to lose about 600 lbs. Damn, those things have to be sooo much fun running 300 hp and weighing well below 3000 lbs.

They rev higher, that's a given, though probably not the complete answer to the equation.

My guess is they probably run a lot hotter than stock form does, and maybe they don't have provisions for engine knock, which may well occur.

Since their internals are forged, they might be a little higher maintenance, with possibly looser tolerances than stock.

It all depends on where the engine is stressed most: From the head or the bottom?

Hmm. very tempting indeed. I've really downloaded all the specs. waiting to go to the tuning shop and talk it out with the owner. but most shops over here don't have that much experience with the K-engines. so no idea if can get it to work.

maybe adding a ITB will further boost the WHP. Tsk. see how it goes.
