There is no way that the Realtime TSX's are using the A-Spec suspension as the one that you can buy from your dealers. Those RTR TSX's were running spring rates in the 1000s lbs/in. The A-Spec suspension that you can buy from your dealers are just couple hundred lbs/in or so. I'm thinking that maybe the suspension (Eibach ERS and Moton shocks) that RTR TSX's use are prepped by Acura's A-Spec division (is there even an A-Spec division at all?).

The term A-Spec when used by Realtime is marketing. In fact, every car on the grid doesn't have a whole lot of OEM parts on it. They might use name-brand parts but the suspension is not even close to stock. All of the value in a race team of this calibre is in the R&D. And Realtime does it extremely well. They do get a TON of factory support - and some of it is more than money. The engine mods and electronics alone are worth a fortune even if the car is partly assembled from off the shelf parts.

Suspension Modifications

The OEM-type of suspension must be retained (McPherson Strut, for example). The suspension pick-up points below the top of the tire may be relocated 25mm, and the suspension pick-up points above the tire may be relocated 75mm. Alternate control arms may be submitted for approval. Shocks and springs are free, but must remain in stock location. Anti-sway bars are free. Bushings are free. Steering geometry may be modified to correct bump steer due to lowering car to 3" minimum ride height.

Check out this link for technical regulations on the cars.

Sounds like a good excuse for a road trip. I can be there in <6hours so maybe we can make a meet out of it.

That's about right. Last year for Grand Am Cup events, my seat time was $6k (that's just for the driver). The weekend event ended up costing about $20/event. This is why you see stickers all over the cars. Just think if someone loses a tranny, suspension, etc. There are teams that basically have enough of the hard items (driveline, suspension, brakes) to replace 3 times on a car for the weekend. That's some serious budgeting.
