Its a repost from MotorSports but since its TSX related why not.

The big news, Team owner Peter Cunningham has dropped the crappy Nismo Sentra and will be in a TSX

The pics/sketches from that link show different rims, did they change from the SSR comps?

Sad, moment right there. We thought the TSX's chaces of winning went out the window but Plumb brought it home in 1st. Ricecake, Plumb has gone to Trans Am Racing. Not sure on the details.

Of course, but I wouldn't want you to put too many km's on your car driving over.

I don't know how he got that angle because you'd practically have to be standing on the track.

This is shaping up to be quite the event.

Sure the race isn't until August but it's never too early to start planing.

There were a few Photographers in front of us, and they were real close to the track.

I even said it was a 100-400.

The crash was just coming into turn one and domn and I watched it happen but I don't know where the photographer could stand to get that angle. Anyhow, kudos to Eddy.

Dan, I'm not sure if you saw the other thread about this, but the Mosport race was almost cancelled. The ALMS series had to reschedule so that SPEED could make it. Close call.

Well, actually Cunningham was planning to drop the Sentra this year, but I thought Nissan was going to go with the Altima this year which I thought (at the time) was stupid. I'm glad to see Cunningham in a TSX.

I'm predicting the results for 2005,

Driver Champion --> either Cunningham or Klenubing
Manufacturer Champion --> ACURA

Because of the way the racing in kept close with weight penalties and rev limitaton, its literally to close to call. But I hope your right.

I remember when the two CTS-V's finished 1, 2 in last years GT opener with the 2nd place car coming from dead last. The series made sure that wouldn't happen again and it didn't. It racing at its best IMO.

If they were being jerks, with 5 cars, they could run a three car screen and allow PK and Cunningham to run up a huge lead.

It'd be hilarious to see Auberlain's BMW surrounded by Acuras....

It's great to watch live and on TV. Formula 1 should take a lesson from these guys on how to run a series.

Interesting...the rims in the drawing look to be Enkei's RPF1. Still pretty light wheels though.

I like the new paint scheme.

Maybe I should fill Plumb's seat. I drove a Civic back when it was the Speedvision World Challenge (when it wasn't that competitive of a series).

We competed in every event, but let's just say that racing is an expensive hobby.

IOW, we sucked. I am a great driver, but money buys speed.

im assuming by the big A_SPEC sitcker in the back that the tsx is equiped with the a-spec suspension

my questions is y does it look so low???

what size wheels are those because the gap is minimal

anyone member that link that has all the specs of the tsx's???

thanks

It's not A-Spec suspension. They use Eibach ERS on Moton shocks (each shock will run you about $1k). The wheels are series mandated 17x8. You can read about the specs in Realtime's website, http://www.realtimerl.com.

well now the new setup is going to be a-spec suspension as they said here

To achieve the dual goals, RealTime is fielding three Acura TSX cars and a pair of RSXs, all equipped with Acura’s A-SPEC performance and handling package.
wonder what its going to look like now

There's no way they'll actually use off the shelf dampers this season. If they do, prepare for major suckage.

This is just marketing hype. They might use a bolt or two off an A-Spec kit but that's it.
