The lower temp thermostat simply opens up sooner to allow coolant circulation, but the fan switch is what tells the relay to turn on the fan. That means the engine is not to going to run cooler. You can also get the matching lower temp fan switch but depends on the driving condition and weather, the ECU might put you in warm up mode (enriched air/fuel mixture, higher idle) due to the lower coolant temp, as that's how the ECU is programmed.

Yeah but that's damn far! And I've only seen one very short clip mentioning it on the news hour after a fatal street racing crash... then nothing more about it. All the official statements from ICBC and the PD are "we got to educate the youngster", have speakers at their schools, nothing useful's ever done. Like the kids are going to be moved by the speech and smarten up right there and then. They watch a flick like Fast and Furious then all the speech is brainwashed away.

Best way to get them out of trouble and stop killing innocent people on streets is to promote proper driving/racing in enclosed and controlled environment, nothing else would do. It's really a shame that they don't think to do something like a local race driver training program, especially when we had a racing hero in Greg Moore from that very area!!!

Sorry for well, at least it's still kind of on topic to "racing"

well my take on it was that we wanted to run the fans with the car off or on accessory. leaving the ac would deem unnecissary since we dont need the fans blowing in the car, just the one on the radiator. now that im thinking this somethings gotta move that coolant so this is going to complicate this more.

my inital idea was to just turn that fan on n get some air moving under that hoo (with it up of course). now i guess moving that collant is a whole other thing. the reason why we didnt thing mugen was one price n two i thought we just wanted that fan on when the engine was off.

Keep in mind the coolant temp is already well regulated by the thermostat, coolant and fan. It's the intake temp that you should try to cool as it greatly affects performance. Blowing the fan directly onto the intake manifold makes it very hot.
