Not a bad price at all, considering the stock tires new will run you for more than that.

I understand that a lot of Auto-Xers like the Kuhmo Ecsta MX. It is relatively inexpensive and if you auto-x enough, a good inexpensive tire would be a great choice since you'll be changing tires often.

depends what kind of autocross tires you want. If you're doing SCCA and staying in stock class or doing a street prepared class you can use R-compounds. If you're doing a street touring class you need a DOT legal tire.

I can't comment on r-compounds as I only run street touring, but I suggest either the Hankook Z212, Kuhmo MX, or Falken Azenis RT-615. The Hankook's are easily the cheapest and seem to be the stickiest of the bunch. Check edgeracing.com for prices.

Planning on running a couple Regional Auto-x's this year. I believe the TSX is re-classed. Thinking of running a few events in stock class. Would I be cheating if I run with the A-Spec suspension in stock class?

So I would have to run in street touring or swap the stock suspension back on.

In which case, may as well run street tires and leave it at that. Guess I can buy the Comptech re-flash, Euro R front lip, and a header while I'm at it.

Unless you plan on winning your region in stock class, you might as well run in street touring and have fun.

I'll be hitting up a autox this weekend. I only went once with the TSX, but what pressure should I put it at so it's enough to not tear up my tires?

Those Hoosiers are DOT Certified, so in SCAA AutoX the're still street class, even though they really are slicks... There was a 911 Running those last time I autoxed.... drove everyone in his class crazy because they were on regular streets... To be really competitive in AutoX, you gotta be running slicks

you have to have a 200 treadwear for street touring, r compounds are legal in street prepared however
