I don't know if anyone else out there has encountered the problem of a rattle or noise coming from the passanger A-pillar or front windshield, but I certainly have. I have noticed that when I travel over bumps on the right side of the car there is a severe rattle noise. I originally thought that it was from the A-pillar and had my car in the shop last week for two days to try to solve the problem. After no success and the noise still there I did some searching myself. I found that the rattle was not at all related to the A-pillar, however, it was related to the front windshield glass. I pressed the glass from the inside and the outside of the car and found out the rattle that I heard while on the road was, in fact, from the front glass and not the A-pillar.

I know that I have really taken the long way to get to this point but if you find yourself with a strong rattle noise in the front passanger side of your car and the dealer can't find anything wrong with the A-pillar, look towards the window. Now I will have to take my car back in for the fix.

 

But some other threads said that rattle actually from the side skirt. So do you have OEM full bodykit? I am going to take off my side skirt later to see. But I will also try to push my windshield and see if I able to hear the rattle.

 

I will look into another location for the source of the noise, thanks for the heads up. As of right now I know that there is a bit of a rattle with the front glass and have heard a squeak or two from the back area of the car as well. The car will be back in the shop soon though and hopefully they can figure this all out.

Thanks. Now that I have had the car 2 months I am getting excited to do some mods. The first thing I want to do is get some performance upgrades and maybe some parts to give it more of a Euro look.

 

Just a bit of an update on the situation. It now seems that my front windshield has found a friend in my back window. The back window is now making a squeak, (rattle), as well and I don't know what that can be from. I am assuming a bad seal but I am not sure.

Just some food for thought on the squeaks.
