I am new to this forum so I would appreciate all the the help I can get. I bought a TSX in December 2003 and I've put about 900 miles on the car. I am experiencing a soft whistling noise coming from the engine when in idle and when accelerating between 30-60 mph. It now does it constantly when cruising at about 40-60 mph. I took it to the dealer and the mechanic says it is normal and it is similar to the 4 cylinder Accord. is this true? is anyone else experiencing this? I can't stand the whining/whistling noise and it is driving me crazy. Thanks in advance for your help!!

 

Try searching the forum, this is normal and caused by the intake.

 

No whistling noise in mine. I haave 13500 miles so far on it. Go back to the dealer and test drive one on the lot with the mechanic. That should shut him up.
