Where is the VTEC Solenoid Located?

Where is it located exactly? Is it covered by anything? I have an oil leak and the forums seem to say that the VTEC solenoid gasket could be a potential cause for it

Well, if you mean VTC Oil Control Solenoid, it has an o-ring rather than a gasket. Located on the side of the head, passenger side.

The VTEC Solenoid Valve (or Rocker Arm Oil Control Solenoid) is located under the valve cover on the far left (passenger side).

I was just following this thread: http://www..com/forums/1st-gen-probl...-oil-leak.html

And people seem to think that the problem could be the "VTEC Solenoid Gasket", and apparently it looks sorta like this: http://www.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=h...9QEwAw&dur=303

Not sure if I'm correct but is part #5 on this link the part I'm looking for? http://www.oemacuraparts.com/find-pa...ONTROL%20VALVE
