Sorry no pic, the engine oil plug is on the left and the tranny one towards the right looking from underneath the car.

Hi,

I tried to flush the transmission fluid (AT) and i couldn't screw out the drain plug. The manual says it's 5.0 kgfm - 36 lbf.

I used a click type torque wrench (3/8) and i set the settings mentioned and when i try to unwound it clicks..I even tried by increasing this to 5.6 and 40 without any luck..

what tools are you using to take out this drain plug..

thanks

Mars, you'll need to a breaker bar and possibly a pole to get enough leverage to loosen it up; it's on there tight. You shouldn't ever use a torque wrench to loosen anything. Make sure to clean off any metal shavings that are attached to the drain bolt. It will look like a grey goo on the tip. Also be sure to put on a new washer and tighten the bold to the correct torque setting.

Use a ratchet or breaker bar with a 3/8" head to remove the plug. Torque settings apply when replacing the drain plug.
