What happened to my car?

I was driving through heavy rain yesterday and all of a sudden my wipers and AC/ Defrost stopped working. The temperature, mode and fan speed all display but there is no action. After 24 hours it is still not working, has anyone ever experienced this, do you think the rain short circuited something?

I'd get out the owner's manual and take a look at the fuse box diagram. This is a first step though. I can't imagine the wipers and blower are on the same fuse. That's part of the good news; for the HVAC, it sounds like it's just the blower. Bad news? See the sentence before the last one. I wouldn't think that the rain should have anything to do with it (although I agree that coincidences don't often come that big). Like most I'm sure, I've been though some torrential rain and it appears that the underhood compartment of the TSX is sealed pretty well.

I can't imagine losing wipers in heavy rain. That must've really sucked.

If it was me, I'd curse up a storm, then ... pull over and check all fuses. It's a Good Idea(TM) to know the location of these for these occurrences.
