I just got mine fixed via this extended warranty, after having the console lights out for a couple years or more. Nice to finally have it fixed. Last time (about a year ago) the dealer investigated this problem they wanted to charge me $250 for the fix as I was over the 100,000km limit. Now at 153,000, I just got in under the new 160,000km extension. I'm glad it's finally fixed, and that Acura stepped up to take care of this obvious defect.

Wow, it was out for a long time, eh? When I got mine fixed, the first new circuit board they put in made the problem worse - my radio/CD player didn't work. Then they ordered another one and it fixed everything. I just hope it doesn't do it again.

guys i have the same problem with my 04tsx (center console light is out). from the post above sostrooper mentioned that he got his fixed under the new acura extended warranty. Can anyone give me more info about this new warranty? I search the TBS but I couldnt find the topic. please help..thanks!

I have an 04 with 100k and mine dim every now and then , guess i have to buy a new radio?

Man that is awesome but my car is a rebuilt salvage just of stupid accident on my driver door and the airbags didn't go off. You think I can still get it fixed at my local Acura dealer even with my rebuilt salvage title. I got only 95k on my car. Obviously it's just the light in the radio that always die.
