My car gets the enjoyment of my 150 mile a day commute to work and back which includes a nice long construction zone. Obviously the hood looks like poo because of all the rock chips. I'm considering repainting it and putting a clear bra on it, but I'd also like a CF hood. Would the gel they use in the CF hoods hold up to rock chips a bit better than the water based paints they use now? Think I should go with the repaint and clear bra, or just get the CF?
