The VSA switch does not illuminate anymore. Do I need to take apart the whole dash to get to the switch or does that section just pop out?

 

You mean the light on the VSA switch is not working anymore? Or is the switch itself being faulty and leaving you not being able to turn VSA on and off?

 

You have to pry out that entire switch panel block (sunroof control, vsa). It's held by 2 clips on the bottom right and left, and 2 hooks on the right and left side. Once it's pulled out, then you can replace the switch. Isn't your car still under warranty? The dealership should do it.

 

the light is out. vsa works. no warranty. hit 55k today and i was the orignal poster for dash lights out. had tons of crap done under "warranty" thanks for the tip, im just gonna order the bulb. just wanted to make sure if just that section comes out.
