Exclamation VSA/ABS lights -> DTCs 12, 11, 61 & 83

Hi All,
It's been a while since I've had post-worthy issues with my '06 6MT...
A week ago my VSA & ABS lights went on when I hit a bump going into a parking lot...
A few days later they turned off.
Then they came back, and now come on every time I start up.

Pulled the DTCs with the paperclip jumper on the OBDII port (12, 11, 61, 83).

My battery is OLD, but the car still runs fine, although I did have to recondition it after it sat unused for a year in the driveway.

But from what I've read, and DTC 61 being in the list, I think a new battery may be in order.

Once I do that, I'd like to clear the code to see if that does the trick- can I do that without an HDS (maybe with a fancier paper clip)?

I have a Bluetooth OBDII scanner that can clear CEL faults, but doesn't appear to do the same for the ABS/VSA codes.

TIA!

when you pull the battery, it should clear the codes...
so, go get you a new battery and see!

removing the battery didn't clear the codes, but I was able to find my old HDS (and windows XP laptop) in the basement... cleared the codes, and 11 came back.

Well it's a permanent code now... went to replace the sensor and the plastic was so brittle after 15 years of northeastern winters that it snapped flush with the hub. I knew it was going to be nasty when the head of the bolt holding the sensor snapped off- I might be able to drill them out, but not sure it's worth it at this point...
