Voice Recognition Problem

Just got my new tsx (1 week old). But, sometime like 1 out of 5 times after I start my car, the voice recognition does not work ! It just says "Pardon", "Please repeat".
Initially I thought may be I am not speaking up. But if I restart my tsx and speak with my normal tone, it works. Right now whenever my voice recognition does not work, I restart my car !! Is this the solution or has anyone faced such a problem and have a fix ?

I think you can adjust the mic sensitivity in the advanced diagnostic menu. I was having the same problem and re-set the leveling on it. It's in the menu where you press map, guide, and cancel or whatever.

Thank you for your response. But I could not find the advanced diagnostic link from the menu. From the setup I found how to control the volume. But nothing related to the microphone. Could you please let me know how exactly you were able to change the microphone setting.

Thanks a lot !

First startup the car and hit "ok" on the screen. Then hold down "mapguide, setup, cancel" at the same time for a few seconds. Your navi will jump into an advanced diagnostics screen. One of those options inside of there will have a microphone volume setting to where you can go into there and speak into the microphone at a normal voice. The navi will automatically adjust the sensitivity based ony our voice volume.

It's in the functional setup on the right, and then on the right again. The trick is to hit the talk or back button and speak softer to get the red mark lower on the scale. The higher you make that red mark and exit the menu, the less sensitive the mic is going to be to your voice.
