visor clip install on 06

My wife broke off her sun visor clip (the part that holds the sun visor to the ceiling) and I have the replacement part in hand. I cannot figure out how to remove the broken one however. I'd love some help and I don't want to make another trip to the dealer if I can help it.

Thanks!
Shawn

I just took a look at mine and noticed that if you look up at it from the dashboard/windshield side you will see a rectangular notch opening toward the front of the clip.

I bet if you insert a flat blade screwdriver and press you might have some luck.

You just need to twist it and it will come off. No tools required.

Where did you get the part? Do you have the part number? Mine on 06 just broke as well and I need to order the part.

Thanks

Broken Visor

My Visor broke too. It won't got all the way up to the ceiling, like the spring it in broke. I brought it to the dealer and they said they would have to replace the whole visor and it would be $125. I said forget it. Anyone else have this issues or cheaper fixes?
thanks
