VIN number

I remember reading on early in the forum about certian TSX models that had defective tranny's. My TSX has a VIN JH4C6958XC028981, I just wanted to know if it fell in the range, maybe that's what's responsible for my speedometer, odometer, and rev limiter failing. However it might also be due from damage received when my car was towed, however I don't think it's from the towing because the car ran fine for a week after it was towed.

Goto AHM.com and register with the site.

Enter your vin number and they'll give you tons of information regarding recalls, maintenance etc.

I doubt the tranny recall has anything to do with your issues - the recall involves the case of the tranny.

AHM.com is a health care site. Are you abbreviating for something?

Off subject, but what does the JH4 represent. Honda's have JH4 followed by chasis code, ie: CL9, DC5, then some other misc bull, followed by production number. Anyone have an idea of how that info breaks down? Just curious!

You can also go to acura.com then Owner's Center then enter your VIN and you will get a list of any recalls.
