Vibration in wheel

I just got back from the dealer after they rebalanced all 4 of my tires and they checked the alignment. I've only got 300 miles on my TSX and there's still a slight vibration. After the rebalance, the vibration got better. But its still there. It's driving me nuts. I can feel my watch vibrating when i'm holding onto the wheel on the highway when i'm at around 70mph.

Is there any other solution to try? Has anyone here tried a "road force" balance?

Have you had them check the brakes to make sure they are not rubbing/warped rotors?

You might have a wheel that's offcenter?

The rotors aren't warped though. No matter how hard or soft i brake, they are as smooth as butter.

Wheel that's off center? You mean the steering wheel? Or????
I dont think the steering wheel is off center. It seems to drive in a straight line on the highway.

It's just sort of a back and forth vibration in the steering wheel. It's not too heavy of a vibration. But if i put my left hand on top of the wheel and i have a watch on. I can feel/sort of hear the watch vibrating. So i know that's not normal. Plus the demo car i drove when i test drove the TSX was smooth. I guess they can try to balance it again?

I just got this thing too! Less than a week ago!

I would have thought tire re-balance for sure.

Yea, i thought so too. They rebalanced them. And it helped. But it's still there.

Man... on a brand new car too.
I'm going in Wednesday to have them do it again.
What do you guys think i should do if it still vibrates?

It's not hurting my car to drive around with the vibration is it?

The machine that they use to balance the tire usually has 2 settings. One is for "fine", and the other is for "normal". You may want to "demand" to use the "fine" setting.

Also check the tire pressure. These low profile tires may be very sensitive.

Interesting Alin,

I have had the same symptoms for a while. Just like you, I can feel the steering wheel shake at highway speeds. At lower speeds (20~40 mph), I can still feel it but only on very very smooth road surfaces.

Mentioned it to Acura service and they suggested a tire re-balance. I will be taking it in next week....but since it hasn't worked for you ....

I was meaning that maybe you have a defective rim, that's it's not perfectly centered, or even plain and simply unbalanced. It happens, and even after balancing the tires, it can't be completely corrected.

That was actually what i was thinking this morning. So... i guess since i just took delivery less than a week ago. I can have them replace the wheel.
Shouldi have them check all 4? Think i should look at it myself? Or do you think they'll try to be sneaky and put the bad rims on the back? Hmm...

Try swapping the wheels front to rear and see if that changes anything.

Ok... dealer actually paid for me to see who i usually go see for vibration problems. THe service manager OK'ed it without question. He said send him the invoice and he'll pay it.
The place i went to did a high speed 130mph computerized balance. Before they did that, they also did a road force balance.
The ride is definetaly better now. I woudln't say it's perfect. But i guess that's from feedback from the road. Although it intensity changes from smooth to just a tad bit of vibration in the wheel at 60mph. Then normal again at around 70mph
Is this normal?
Dealer keeps telling me that this is normal. I guess there's not much more that i can say to them cause they've already paid for me to go where i wanted to go.
