Vibration help please!!! Not axles or wheels!

Hello Everyone!

I'm new to this forum as a memeber; however, I have used the resources available here many times! I have been a memeber of the for 4 years. That is where I posted my problem first.

I would like to see however, if you guys can help me out a bit as well.

I will repeat myself here:

The past week I have installed a new clutch/flywheel (CM FX300, CC light steel flywheel) and a Wavetrac LSD. You can read more about it:

http://www..com/forums/1st-gen-engin...wheel-lsd.html

After the install I drove conservative for 600 miles. Shifts below 3k RPM, did not go over 70mph!
Everything with the clutch seems good! Car shifts good, clutch makes no noises revving in neutral as well as climbing and holding rpm’s at 1,2,3,4,5k presents no vibration to the car.

However! I noticed that if the car is pushed hard (almost full throttle) in 2nd 3rd and barely noticeable in 4th gear from around 1.5k to 3k RPM’s the car shakes really badly! You can feel like the motor is moving from side to side at a face pace! The vibration is not present in 1st 5th and 6th gears and the car cruises smoothly! No misfires!

I believe this may be related to the transmission mounts. (Axles have been replaced). While I was talking the transmission off the car I noticed minor tears in the rubber of both the bottom and top driver side transmission mounts!

Can someone please help me diagnose the problem?? I don’t want to buy the mounts if they are not the problem.

Thank You!!

check the inner cv joints , grab it and shake to check the part if it's OK. Check if your wheel dod not became an egg. Change the possition s of the wheels back to front etc. Check the lower rocker arm. It should not be nothing else. I have the same in my jdm Type-S Honda Accord 2003. My CV joints are worn. If you have a sensor you can check the brake discs if ronning straight.

Good luck in getting this one fixed. My 06 has been in the shop about 6 times for this issue since 10k. All axles have been replaced twice and still no fix. They finally said they think it is normal for the car but did not have another 6sp to show me. So, now with 45k it still does it and is quite annoying. I complained to Acura and they had me bring it back to the dealer when the "rep" was there. I did that and asked for a call to drive with him. No call and the dealer said the "rep" said it is normal. I am surprised Acura produces crap like this which is normal.

It's more then likely the inner CV joints. It could also be that you need an alignment or that the motor/transmission mounts are bad, but I bet it's the joints.
