Vibration after intake install

I already searched but couldn't find a answer... I just installed an AEM SRI two days ago and i feel a slight vibration from the steering wheel. I also feel a vibration from the brake when the car is in drive and my foot is on the brake. is this normal?

thanks in advance,

J

I don't think the two are related.

Right. Sounds like the WRS - Warped Rotor Syndrome. Not intake related.

First vibration is from your A/C. If you turn it off the vibration will go away. It's because you have the SRI, your torque at 700rpm decreases a little, so the engine vibrates (lugs a bit). The 2nd vibration is when you're in Drive, with the brakes and your car is not moving? If it is, then I suspect the SRI has magnified that vibration. It is the AT's torque convertor loading, so the engine also lugs a bit. With SRI, it is enhanced.

And if turning off the A/C doesn't work, check the points which secure the SRI for any loose bolts.
