I'm going to need a speedy response to this problem. I don't know if any of you guys know the mechanics of the TSX inside and out, but I'm going to need some advice ASAP, since I am preparing for a road trip back home tomorrow morning.

Problems:
1. Speedometer and odometer working, revlimiter is active at 4,500 too (car thinks it's not moving).
2. Engine Check light is on, Gas was filled a week ago, so I doubt it would be from a loose cap. The gas meter actually fluctuates up and down as I drive. Engine light will not reset off., I checked and they said there could be fuel inefficiency problems, however my odometer is not working so I cannot check milage.
3. No Acura Dealer within 100 miles. The best bet is for me to go back to Cincinnati, I have a appointment on Friday to fix my car.
4. What could the problem be? All this stuff is failing and I have less than 4000 miles on my car. My car was towed a while ago, but problems occured a week after tow. There was no visible damage from tow, and I do not park in gear.

It seems like I'm regretting buying THIS TSX, I'm sure others are great, but this one sucks. I'm a magnet for dings (5 so far) and I've gone through too much hassle with all this malfunction. As my first car, and first experience with Honda/Acura... F-

I'm sure everyone else loves their car and loves honda/acura quality, but frankly I just had a shitty experience with this car.

 

Well, Friday's today, unless you meant next Friday? Anyway, with a rev-limit at 4500rpm, you're good for driving on the highway, I'd suggest you just drive it back to the dealership and tell them it's undrivable because it is too dangerous, and request you get a loaner until they get it fixed.

 

Sounds like you got a few problems going on. I would check this out ASAP. I agree with sauce on this, tell the dealer that its unsafe for you to drive, and that you have no confidence in your car so that they can give you a loaner.
