USage of SSM

Lately I have found myself to be using the SSM all the time. Will there be any downside of using the mode everytime I drive. I am just worried about the usage.

FYI:
SSM = Satin Silver Metalic
SS = Sport Shift

There's no extra wear caused by using the SS mode. Enjoy!

I thought you were going to talk about the usage of Satin Silver Metallic, which was kind of interesting because I really wouldn't understand how you would utilize Satin Silver Metallic... Btw, if you have hondata and never use your sport shift you are pretty stupid because that is a major change to the computer. You are losing everything expect the moved v-tec point if you don't use SS mode...

He still gets the benefits of more power, its just that he leaves it up to the AT logic to pick the gear instead of manually selecting it. He might miss out on the last 300RPM is about it.

Im curious about this also and i drive SS 99.9% of the time. Does it hurt any engine componets are the transmision if i downshif to slow down to stop. also Does that actually waste more gas then normal automatic becuase of downshifting and have the rpms fly up?
