upper display off
upper display off
Hey everyone-
I let someone borrow my car and when I got it back, the upper display (where the digital clock is displayed) was turned off (well actually it's just really light and impossible to read). Does anyone know how to turn it back on? My main display is still fine, so it's only the upper display. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I don't think there's any way you can only adjust the clock section of the center console. This sounds like it's a variation of the HVAC display TSB: https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...75&postcount=1
I just encountered the same problem. Was there an easy solution, or will you have to bring it into the dealership? I'd rather not have to replace my audio unit, since my addition of a satellite radio may have voided the warranty.

1. Tear out the Sat system and take it in.
2. Leave the Sat in there and they'd have to prove that the Sat system had something to do with the clock light.
it is the HVAC system. i had my replaced. i have navi. they have to do one piece unit ..1800 usa dollars. oh yes.. under warranty. and i have xtended acura care warranty to 100k. so does it worth it? i paid 895 for it. and restroom happens. i hate unexpected big exepenses.

I chose Option #1: took the car to the shop that originally installed the sat radio and had them rip it out (gently), then took it to the dealer. The warranty was honored, so I paid nothing.
Now I have to bring it back to the other shop to re-install the sat radio. This may have been a blessing in disguise, because I want to see if they can install a splitter to let me plug my ipod into the same aux input that the sat is using. Anybody have any experience with this?
