Uneven braking
I ordered Racing Brake slotted rotors and ET500 pads for my 06 TSX and just had them installed. They are working pretty well except when I tried to do the Break in process, I hit the brakes really hard and became scared for my life.
The car shifted forward and to the right, by this i mean either the front right rotor is grabbing too HARD or I am guessing that the rear left is not braking hard enough.
Has anyone ever seen where the brake pressure isn't being applied evenly?
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Someone stole "My Garage"
Did you complete the break-in process or stop performing it after the first incident? My guess is that there might have been some residual caliper lubricant or oils on the front left rotor causing it to grab significantly weaker than the front right. These oils will burn off after a few hard stops, and the pads will also bed-in properly during the break-in process. I think you'll notice a fairly big difference in even-ness and overall brake power if you complete the break-in.

I agree. Break them in and you should notice a huge improvement. If you're scared, just drive normally around town for half an hour, then try bedding them again and you should have burned off any oils and started the bedding process. Not the best way to do it, but may solve your issue.
