you mean hood? it could be that it closes too low, there are some bump stops on the front of the engine bay that you can turn to adjust how high/low the hood rests, try adjusting those.

Ahh, I didn't even realize we get a liner for the hood. Sweet lol

I remember a thread complaining about hood vibrations while driving...this was fixed by adjusting the bump stops. Maybe your hood is a part of the batch and needs to be adjusted as well? (Many didn't notice until they actually sat up to look for it.

I think the intake needs to be adjusted though. If it's anything like the intakes I've used on my accord, then there is quite a bit of leeway for adjustment.

On second thought, if your belt is hitting the liner too, then either the hood is too low, or the liner isn't close enough to the hood? *shrugs*

The belts have a rust look and it seems like it is coming of the belt. Like a wet tooth brush and u wipe u finger over the bristles. I will look for those bump stops. And I will take another pic of the SRI b/c I think this Is part of the problem. Will post pics later.

Can't the AEM tube just be rotated down more to avoid contact with the hood lining. I can't imagine Acura adjusted the hood to close incorrectly.

I was having similar problems with my AEM SRI intake. Adjusting the bump stop certainly helped, thanks for the heads up Xizor.
