Under The Hood Rattle While In Drive
Under The Hood Rattle While In Drive
Wondering if anyone else is experiencing my annoyance?? At a stop light in gear (auto) from time to time there will be this little rattle that comes from under the hood. Looking under the hood I noticed that the radiator and the plastic radiator resevoir in the front center have some play in them. So, the vibration from the engine especially in drive, causes those radiator pieces to rattle. Is this normal and/or are there any fixes?
Thanks for any help.

yep there's supposed to be some play in them thats why they're rubber mounts. (haven't actually looked at the tsx ones though)
You sure thats what they are? You had someone sit in the car with it in drive while you checked?

I had to take the coolant bottle out and taped it with cloth (hockey) tape. Rattle gone.
