Has anyone had their car make squealing noise when turning left or right. You're able to hear it from the inside as well as the outside when next to the wheel. It almost sounds like some sort of hydraulic noise or something.

 

Sounds like your power steering belt may be slipping/loose/cracked. Usually the squealing comes from this problem.

 

What about that clunking sound while turning the wheel? You get that sometimes when starting the car when cold.

 

do you hear it during hard/fast turns only or every time you turn?

 

^^I was gonna say, I hear squeeling when I'm doing 75 mph on a highway off ramp marked for 35 mph.

 

Actually, I hear it when going slow...

 

First check your fluid level. The pump can make that noise when fluid is low.
