tsx won't start , need help plz
Today i changed my starter on my 05 tsx and some coolant got in the air intake sensor. I cleaned off the coolant as much as possible from between the pins but it started and shut down. Now Everytime i try to start it the lights on the dash flickers but when i unplug the sensor the lights stop flickering but it still wouldn't start. I think it's the sensor but jus want some input before i spend that kind of money for a whole throttle body

Check your battery connections. Did you disconnect battery while doing this job. You should have!
Do you have a check engine light? If yes, what code?
Are you getting a green ignition ready light on dash?
If no check engine light, try basic fuel or spark test by attempting to start w/ a 5-10 sec injection of throttle body cleaner or starter fluid into air intake.
If car starts, but dies in a few secs, then fuel delivery is problem; main fuel relay, fuel pump.
If car does not start, then spark is missing. Check fuses to ignition, ignition switch assy (power to COP's).
I doubt a little coolant on the MAP sensor or throttle position sensor would cause problems.
good luck

When the guy came and put the scan tool on the car he told me that the car isn't letting the scan tool read the computer for any codes. I really don't know what to do.
someone came with a scan tool to check the car for any codes and the scan tool didn't link to the computer. I
really don't know what to do.

[QUOTE=tredog00802;15434604]I changed the throttle body module where the coolant went in and that was not the problem . I changed the ground cable to a thicker one , changed the positive terminal and changed the battery. Couple hours later it started but if the rpm goes over 6000 the car shuts down and start doing the same thing. After i got it start back couple times i left it so the guy could check it with the scan tool. The next day it tried to star it and it wouldn't start, it went right back to doin the same thing. It never start again.

sounds like a relay... Texas mentioned it but you didn't mention that you looked at it all.

Suggest disconnecting battery negative post for 1 minute and reconnecting. This may reset PCM and allow comms. Low battery voltage due to poor battery connection or damaged battery wires could cause your symptoms.
You are simply replacing parts hoping to get lucky. You can see how difficult this can be. You never answered any questions to help clarify your problem. Suggest starting there for helpful input.
good luck

I checked all the fuses, changed the throttle body intake, changed two relays behind the glove compartment, changed the changed the whole key switch assembly with the immobilizer and computer that's up by the gas pedal .I changed the throttle actuator unit that is up under the right side of the dash. The car is still doin the same thing. Still looking for the main relay and the fuel relay. Don't know where they are located. I got those parts off a car that was hit and was still starting. Still when u unplug the throttle body intake module that's on the motor the flickering on the dashboard stops, u can hear the fuel pump, the relays stop clicking but the car still won't start.

I charged the battery, i disconnect both terminals when i change each part and after i check the car and get no results. The car turns over great but jus would not start. My next step is the starting fluid in the throttle intake then check for spark if it don't start.

problem solved, the ground screw for the engine harness onto the throttle body was loose. I put back on my original parts the car came with the the car worked perfect. Thx to everyone for their support.
