I'm in search of a plug for my TSX ballast. All I need is the plug - probably a 10 cent plastic piece - but I haven't had any luck locating it. The plug on the wire that attaches to my ballast broke, and that is all I need. Can anyone help me find one?

Thanks!

what year is your TSX?

ballasts changed from 04-05 to 06-08

Here's a diagram:

What number part do you need in the picture?

Accord, actually, so I'm not sure what year TSX the ballast was from!

Per that picture, it appears as though I would need the plastic part that would attach the wiring harness to part #9.

The harness that I have has a 9006 attachment for that part on the ballast, but the part on the ballast where it is supposed to attach appears about 3/4 the size.

Thanks for the help!

well, #13 is a part sold as is in the picture.

that's the igniter.
you can't just buy one part of it.

#9 is the ballast (Acura calls it the Control Unit)
#5 is just a seal gasket

so, I would guess you would need the igniter.
it's kinda pricey.
here's how to buy it:

^04-05 Igniter

^ 06-08 Igniter

only other option really is to find a junk tsx somewhere...

For reference, here's the layout of both years:

^04-05

^06-08

I should have been more clear - not the wire from the ignitor, the wire that comes from the power source and attaches to the ballast. It's that wire that has a broken clip/plug for attaching the power source wire to the ballast that I need a new clip for. I'm guessing it's included as part of a wire harness, and that wiring harness doesn't seem to be included in the picture you attached.

The ballast from the 04-05 schematic seems to be the one that I have. Would you have any idea on where I could find the wiring harness - or better yet, just the cheap plastic clip/plug - that would attach to that part? It appears to be the black plastic part on the ballast in my pictures.

Thanks again for your help!
