I can't open my trunk from the outside. The car is four weeks old and the trunk was working fine for the first three. I did not lock the inside opener on the bottom left of driver seat nor did I change the switch in the glove box, but did try it in both positions just incase it got moved accidentally. I can open the trunk with the remote. P.S. I did have the dealer install a spoiler, but the trunk did work afterwards. Is this a job for Acura, or am I being stupid and overlooking something?

 

Just take it into the dealer. If it's only 4 weeks old it should be under warranty. That way in case you did something stupid, they'll probably know. Or if it's something that shorted out of a fuse or something, they'll be able to see that too.
Since your car is so new, they should be THAT quick to deny any warranty claims.

 

I'd blame it on the switch in the glove box, but since you already checked that, bring it to the dealer...

 

The trunk can only be opened from the outside if you click the unlock button on the keyfob twice to unlock all other doors, including the trunk. If you only click the unlock button once, it only unlocks the driver door.

Another option is to manually push the door unlock button once you got it.

 

Just take it to your dealer. This should be an easy fix.
