tranny and tire problem

tranny and tire problem

a little over 12000 miles and my at tranny is trash. wont stay in gear sounded like it was in neutral. so i took it to acura with my road side assistant and called me up later telling me that "it was the tranny" :captobvious: so they going to replace my tranny. and that brings me to my tire problem. my rear tires are pretty bald. due to my eibach prokit w/o camber. i didnt know it was that bad until they told me about it and actually looked at it myself. they were going to accuse me of peeling out, dragging, racing, burning out; in my oh so strong at tsx; then rotated my tires to the back. which caused it to ruin my tranny. :sqntfawk: but this time they are going to fix it. fuckers accusin me of shit, :fingerfawk: fix my car bitch, i got warranty. sorry no pics of the tires.
anyone else have this problem with tire wear OR tranny problem or am i the first

Gotta say no on the tranny problem. As for the tires, it's your own fault. You need a camber kit on the rears for the drop. Even a mild drop of 1" like the Comptechs and the camber kit is highly recommended. Save yourself some harassment from the dealer and just get the camber kit installed. I gotta say the tranny issue seems odd though. Have you been doing hard starts on it? Is this an MT or an AT?

Consider yourself lucky that you're getting a new tranny. With the mods on the car a not so friendly dealer could have left you holding the bag.

I don't see how the tires are the dealer's fault so you can't be mad at them if they don't replace your tires.

i only mentioned the tires because of the tread wear to the rear tires. and the dealer accused me of rotating my front tires to the rear after i've been racing, doing burn outs, dragging in it. i was shocked and offended that they were accusing me of that, but lowering or having bad rear tread has NOTHING to do with my tranny. i dont know what could have caused the tranny to not work.
another reason why i mentioned the rear tire wear is for all fellow eibach prokit tsx'ers to see if they have the same problem with tire wear in the back, i lowered my car after 3000 miles and also rotated my tires front to back. now my car is about a little over 12000 miles and the rear ones are almost completly bald
