TPMS function error

I just got four new tires put on yesterday at the dealership. Last night I was driving for about 20 minutes on the highway and the TPMS function error came on. It shows a -(dash) next to each tire. I can turn the car off and back on and tire pressure will be fine, it'll show all the correct pressures on the tire. Then again I was driving this morning for about 20 minutes and the same thing happened again. I called the dealership and as expected, the first thing they mention is I probably need new sensors. I just think it's a little coincidental that they would go bad as soon as i got my new tires on.. maybe that's normal? Anyways.. I'm taking it back there tomorrow, I'm sure they'll charge me an arm and leg just to inspect the problem. I just wanted to get some opinions on this, seems to me that it is something they did when putting on the new tires.
