tapping noise on driver/passenger door

this is something new that showed up today. it may be the same thing others have but none of the descriptions sound like what i heard today.

went out to lunch today, got in my car, it was around 52 outside today. its been in the 20's before and the tsx has been pretty quiet. why should today be any different?

well, i get in the car, drive off. i start hearing this odd noise. it sounded like it was raining and hitting my drivers door, near the top of the window and the passenger door, same spot. my girlfriend was in the car and she heard it too, so i'm not nuts.

its like this light tapping, and sounds just like rain but it wasn't raining today dn the sky was clear. it did it everywhere i drove, smooth roads, rough roads, everywhere.

has anyone had this one? it may just be the door seals are dirty, i spent a good amount of time cleaning them tonight and will see if it fixed it in the morning. i hope so. i may put some vinylex on the seals before i leave in the morning, that fixed some noises from my sunroof

the only other noise i have is rattle in the passenger door, going to be at acura tomorrow to get an oil change. i may have them look at the door then and see if they have any idea

if anyone has any idea about this tapping/rain nosie let me know!

I heard the same exact 'noise' from the windows. I cleaned the 'inside' of the window seals, and the noise is gone.

u will need some kind of tool, e.g. screw driver wrapped by a cleaning cloth, to access the 'gap'...

hope you will have no trouble getting rid of whatever noise u are hearing :P

it looks like cleaning the seals fixed it. didn't hear the noise today. i'm going to go over the seals with some vinylex just to be safe.
