Take apart door?
I have mentioned this a number of times when i take in my car for service but each time they say "We could not replicate the problem." drives me crazy!
There is a high piched rattle like a piece of plastic or shaking plastic film that comes from the driver side door very close to the lock.
This happens mostly when there is music with a moderate ammount of bass. I don't have not replaced the speakers and the bass settings is set to normal so this is not due to excessive bass.
Is there any way i can take apart that upper part of the door easily and figure out whats going on? I have a feeling these service guys arent even trying.

There is a TSB for door rattling due to music. Removing the door panel will expose the areas of interest. Its not as hard as it may seem at first. It should take you about 15 minutes to get the panel off.
Here are some instructions (from the Helms manual I believe) on how to get the panel off.

Page 3
The TSB you should be able to find in the FAQ section. Print it out and show it to your service rep.

Thanks for the info!
yeah last time i took it in they actually said they couldn't replicate the problem but performed the TSB service anyway. didn't fix it though.
I guess I'll be taking my door apart this weekend!
Thanks agian.
