Suspension pop / creak
I have a 04 tsx with the 6sp manual, and every time i start from a stop i get a distinct pop, to multiple pops from the front end. took it to the shop and they cant figure it out, replaced ball joints and noise is still there. they said it has something to do with the suspension "loading" when the car starts, and that you can hear the same noise just before the car stops when the front end lowers down. Any ideas?

I'd say perhaps you should look at the sway bar end links. They tend to get noisy when they've gone bad. Maybe an axle issue?

Could be not even related to your suspension.
Check your front fender panel.
My rear was "popping" whenever I hit a bump, and I found out it was just my rear quarter panel of the rear bumper making noise. Little WD-40 fixed it right up.

You can try isolating the swaybar by disconnecting the endlinks just to rule out that area. You might also want to check the motor mounts to make sure they are not worn out or broken. Also double check for loose nuts and bolts on the front suspension (lower shock mount, pinch bolt and upper shock mount).

i have it as well, sounds like front passenger. I also have check all the bushing and re check the suspension 2 times now. some of my bushing are starting to show tears, but not completely so noise shouldnt be much of an issue. Fender sounds plausible and also engine mount. Only thing is .. our engine mount is hydraulic i believe. Transmission mount is regular.

One of the things I have noticed with this problem is you can only hear it inside the car. I had a friend back my car out of a parking space seeing if I could hear the noise from the outside and I could not. However he said he heard this creaking popping noise on the inside of the car. I wonder if that is one of the reasons why the dealer can't pinpoint this issue. Also do we know of anyone who has had this issue and resolved it? I have not yet heard of a specific solution.

i have had everyone look at this pulling pushing all suspension parts underneath eveything is tight, i think its the top joint in the shocks thats making the noise but as the shocks are still fine 250k on them i haven changed them. its funny its not there all the time but very alarming when you hear it first its like a boc boc noise

It was raining this past weekend and I noticed the sound was much louder. I wonder why humidity would be a factor. It was even creaking and popping at like 15mph. I would love to figure out what the problem is before my warranty is up. I have 48300 miles on my car :/.
