per the instructions I saw on another thread tilted the sunroof and wipped the rubber rim with silicon based lubricant, also opened it up to get the front. Random rattle when driving with slider open: solved! i'll bring the goodies to the so cal meet on nov. 9 if anyone else is having the same problems. :busted:

 

I achieved the same result by using Vinylex, vinyl protectant. It cleaned off all the rubber and plastic, and made everything slick to the touch. I only mention this because Vinylex might wind up being much better for the rubber parts around your sunroof than a lubricant (which could break down the rubber in time).

 

This is a great point. I used 303 and it worked as well. Since non-silicon based products seem to work, they may be a better choice as they will be safer in the long run.
