It does get hot - I live in Jacksonville, FL, where we get heat and humidity very much like in Houston. I've been experimenting with leaving the "moon" roof cracked during the day. Also, I need to remember to try opening the windows with the remove as I approach the car to see if that will help.

One thing I may try is to find some sort of seat cushion that will keep it from getting so hot. Mine's royal blue with the ebony interior, so that's not a combination known for keeping things cool. At least the a/c pumps out cold air quickly. The only other thing I could think of that would really help is a remote starter.....

The sun can affect your dash........ treat it with some 303. Keep the car clean and waxed. Condition the leather seats. Also a good sun shade helps a lot. Careful about leaving the sun roof popped up, never know when a sudden afternoon thunderstorm with hit.

Speaking of sun shades, this is what I got from AutoAnything.com. I had one previously for my Altima. It lasted 3-4 years before finally wearing out. As the saying goes, "don't leave home without one".....

Rod, where are you buying your Lexol? I've notice HomeDepot carries it now and I think it's cheaper than Pepboys....... Let's try to get together next weekend for some detailing. Perhaps some other J-ville peeps from this forum will join us........
