Strange "WHOOOOOOOOPING" Noise

Strange "WHOOOOOOOOPING" Noise
My wife has a 2004 TSX auto fully loaded. Over the past several months the car has been making the strangest noise. As you can see from the title the noise sounds like you are ready "WHOOOOOOOOOOOP” It is definitely a non mechanical problem. Has anyone ever had this happen? I am about to take the car to the stealership but I want to make sure there isn't away to fix this problem on my own. The check engine light has been on for awhile for the routine maintenance. Could this be some kind of reminder to check that? I wish I had a recording of the noise because it is so weird. At least I get a good laugh every time it does it.
