Hi,
My 06 has 6k on it. The steering wheel has rattles, but I cant localize it. Maybe the buttons, maybe the silver piece that holds the buttons? I have read all of the posts about rattles, but I cant find any info about ones on the steering wheel???

Anyone have any insight for me?

There are a couple threads about rattles in the steering column, is that where's it's coming from? There's been a number of folks with a loose airbag cable (dealership can fix it no problem). It sounds like bouncing marbles whenever you hit small bumps at high speed.

 

I had this for a couple weeks, but it went away on its own somehow. I never found out exactly what the problem was, though.

 

I have this rattle in my 06. Been to the dealership twice to have it fixed. Both times with felt and taping down the airbag harness. Both times it has reappeared. I think they think I'm crazy.
