Squeeking/Squeeling

Ok so I took my long road trip to my girlfriend's lake house. Her brother was there so I took him out and pushed the car kinda hard around turns.

Now when I get back from the trip I take a slow right turn and it sounds like my tires are squeeking. I'm like ok, well I just drove 10 hrs maybe they are just heated up. Today it continues on right turns and I put my windows down and drive slowly straight and I can hear it happen every second or two when driving straight (at maybe 5 mph) as well... almost like my tires are squeeling around a turn. It stops when I speed up. Any thoughts? This is really freaking me out

Are you saying the sound is from the rubber from the tires screeching when making turns? If so did you check the tire pressure?

it makes the exact same sound, and I probably will check the pressure but the thing that was freakin me out was that it happens when I'm driving straight... and periodically.

BTW it seems to be coming from the back right, or at least the right side.

They seem fine... the tires are only like 4-5 months old, 10k miles...

When driving straight does it only happen when accelerating? Or does it happen if you are driving a constant speed?

What tire size do you have one them, if they are the OEM tires then it could be that you might have bubbles on the inside of the tires, what kind of tires do you have on them too?

Unless you are 100% sure it's rubber "squishing/squeaking", and not the possibility of other things, I'd be looking for slightly warped rotor. If you are pushing a car hard, it's assumed you are braking hard, too... you may have warped a rotor which will give a slight squeak every time the warped part touches the pad...

I have the same problem (about 23k miles on the tires), checked tire pressure, had alignment and tire rotation done, and thread looks fine, rotors were actually replaced recently. I started to have this screeching noise from the front rubber around 20k miles and I am still having this problem.

I think it's because of the way how the tire threads are wearing out (from taking hard turns), but the screeching sound when turning or braking at even at 15mph doesn't sound good.

Mine comes from the front left which makes sense since I take a lot more right turns than left (more load on the left tire). Although I would imagine tire rotation might've helped...but it didn't seem to make the noise go away.

I've had this happen to me on other cars that I've owned and every time it's been due to low tire pressure. I know that it had been mentioned earlier, but I never saw a post that you actually checked it. Make sure that's not the problem before you start examining anything else.

Well if it didn't sound like rubber I'd say it might be a wheel bearing

I have the same problem. I have 22k on the brakes/rotors/tires. If the rotors were warped, wouldn't you be able to feel it while braking? My squeeking occurs while going about 10 mph after completing turns. Next time its in for service I'll have them check the rotors.
