What's up all. I've got this squeaking sound that I keep hearing when I start my car up. I'm in new england and I'm tempted to think it has to do with the cold weather. It sounds like it's coming from under the hood, and it gets higher pitched with higher revs. Sounds like fast high-low-high-low whistling sound, possibly belts or a pulley. Anyone hearing the same thing upon start up? Any idea what I can do about it? Your suggestions would be appreciated.

 

i think i am hearing the same thing its really annoying but i havent had time to look into it...

 

WIcTL, where in Boston are you located? I'm in Boston too. Anyway, this definitely sounds like something that's rotating that's squeaking. I'm probably on the higher end of the spectrum for mileage on TSX's, so maybe it's a normal 70k thing. Let me know if you find out anything.
