Hmm, so there were a couple threads about the clutch making noises, but I think I have something different. Just now on the highway I was shifting between 5th and 6th, and as I coasted with the clutch all the way down playing with the shifter going into 6th, I heard this squeaking noise.

The odd thing is, as I coast I'm slowing down right? And it appears that as I slow down the pitch of the squeak drops too. Anyone else experience this? It's just the shifter, not the clutch.

This happened a couple times and then on the last leg before I exited the highway I tried it again and the noise was no longer there. Any ideas?
