Ok never had to use my spare tire until today..or should i say someone else's spare..my tire blew out so i had to change the tire (obviously) and the spare tire in my trunk did not fit my front left wheel. Am i mentally handicap or isnt a spare supposed to fit all four? SO luckily my brother 04 TL tire fit what should i do about this problem any suggestions would be great thanks.

Should fit just fine. Which part didn't? Bolts, hub, etc?

Did you have it on backwards?

I remember someone suggesting you move the rear normal tire to the front and put the spare on the back.

You should call your dealer ASAP and find out what is going on, even a temporary spare should fit on any location of the car.

Next time just call Acura TLC to take care of it. The service came with the car, might as well use it...

Please let us know what the deal is.

I'm sometimes driving in places where autoclub and roadside assist might take hours to show up, assuming my cellphone had reception in the first place.

If the spare is not a 100% solution for flat tires, then I need to add one of those "tire seal" canisters to my travel kit, which would really suck.

I just had a look at my spare, and it seems to match the specs in the book for size. The wheel is a standard 5-hole pattern, but I haven't measured to make sure it's really a 5x114.

This is probably good advice on a FWD since the front tires do so much (both control and drive) though regardless, that spare should fit everywhere.

yes, you can put the spare on any location (front or rear). Cars like the CL and the S2K have to switch tires around because of the Limited-Slip Differential.

what does the manual say to do? for my s2000 you had to move the rear to the front if the front had a flat... this was needed in order to clear the front caliper.
