So I am hearing some kind of a rattle inside the driver door and it coincides with my driver window being a bit loose at the end of its course going up. I can also move the window up or down about half an inch by hand. So I am assuming something that use to keep the window tight came off or just broke...do you guys have any idea what it is. I do not want to rip the panel and take a look before buying what needs to be changed...that panel is a bitch to work on and i don't wanna do it twice!

 

You will have to carefully do this yourself. I've removed the front door panels several times. Quite easy, and, each successive time; it is easier to do:

well...I have done it before for an actuator...I just don't wanna do it twice. Once to find out what's the broken piece then buy it online and wait for it 4 or 5 days while my car is inoperable. Otherwise I'll have to put the panel back then take it off again once the piece gets shipped, and I hate to work on clips and stuff like that...

so my question was if anyone had a similar problem and what is the likely issue. Window rails or something like that, since the window is slightly loose too, besides the rattling inside the door ...

If it is a cheap piece I will gamble and buy it hoping that's what it is....otherwise screw it, I'll rip that thing twice.

 

ok, let me rephrase. In case of a loose window, what are the pieces that need to be changed/fixed ?
