Ironically, this didn't start till I brought my car in to the dealership a few weeks ago to have a key programmed (lost one and they said they needed the car and the rest of my keys to reprogram everything). I'm sure it's just a coincidence though.

Anyway, since then, my brakes shudder when I depress the brake at highway speeds. Now I baby my car, I bought it new, I'm the only one who drives it, and the last few thousand miles have been highway miles thanks to my new job being 55 miles away from my house (I drive off peak hours to avoid traffic).

What the hell? I'm thinking of making a visit to my dealer when I have a chance, but hopefully this isn't something I'm responsible for paying to fix..

 

Try searching for all the threads on the brakes for our car. Basically, they suck.
