shit...hit my car hard on the curb

thinking back...i fuking regretted everything i did...

i was just having some fun in my TSX with my friend in his A4 quattro(driving a bit fast, which i usually dun do).....and we had to turn left to get to his house....
i think..by that time i already braked hard and shifted down gear (tiptronic)...i wasn't turning that fast at all....but maybe because of the slightly wet ground...my car slid forward while i was turning....and hit the curb on my right.....that curb was so much higher than the normal curbs here....arHhhhhhh...

my front rightside rims was all busted...
alignment fuked up... (and i thot that was it...) so biggy

but then...drove to a auto body shop yesterday morning...but hurts to hear my tsx while driving it.....the rims scratching against the caliper...and there is this fuked up noise when i started braking....

turns out....the bottom of my "U" shaped bar supporting the front wheels needs to be replaced (dunno wut's it called) and some other stuff that guy mentioned.....

an estimate of $4000 to fix....omfg........

i feel so down right now.......

Wow I think that's a definate overprice. Get a quote from somewhere else. If you need to get your stabilizer replaced I doubt it will cost $4000.

This happened to me a couple weeks ago, a lady driving a corolla cut me off and caused me to plow into a curb at 45mph. It cost me $730 to fix/replace a bent rim, upper control arm, and the labor!

Also, I recommend finding a place that uses the Hunter Alignment system. Those things are very accurate.

its canadian, but DAMN that's a lot of money. For raw parts and labor for swapping stuff that is WAY too much money. The U shaped thing is a $40 USD part, the rim is expensive and I'm sure there's more, it really can't be that much.
