Exclamation Seat Replacement Under TSB

As you all are fully aware numerous members on AZ have reported the slight shifting of the driver side under hard braking or turning. As of last week I had my seat repaired under warranty; but for some reason I feel that the automatic controls seem backwards. What I would like to confirm is, when you pull up on the driver side (power seat) lever does it raise the seat or lower it (mine lowers and vice versa)?

It goes in the direction that you are pulling or pushing.

The dealer did that with mine, but it was minor compared to all the damage they did to the trim and seat.

Anyway, there are apparently 2 harnesses that are identical - just switch them around and your controls will be back to normal.

Is there an official TSB out for this in the US? I've been waiting for this since the dealer was 'not able to duplicate the problem' for the 3 or 4 times I've complained to them...

This TSB refers to a SQUEAK in the driver's seat...

The problem I'm talking about is the driver's seat moving forward slightly upon braking and shifting sideways upon turning...
It can be very disconcerting until you get used to it...

Ah yes, I apologize for not thoroughly reading this post, but hopefully someone will still be able to make use of that TSB.

My 2004 TSX drivers seat would shift forward slightly when braking hard. I took it in to the dealer and they fixed it under warranty (which in my case expires in just over a month).

I was in the same boat as you..I had it fixed before the warranty was up..and now it is nice and secure. I just wish the damn rattles in the car would go away...and now the clutch pedal is making noises

Does anybody know what the dealer did to fix the shifting seat problem?
